Having Proper ID Is Important!

In a world where identity and authenticity are everything, having a valid state or government issued Photo ID is important. You need it at a doctors office or hospital, getting certain medications from the pharmacy, voting, and even getting a document notarized.

 

In West Virginia, and Ohio a notary public can accept a Photo ID as long as it is no more than 3 years expired from the time of the notarial act, If you have elderly relatives who may not be able to get out of the house due to mobility concerns, there are options to where you can assist them to renew their Photo ID online before it expires, and it will be mailed to them.

What if you have lost your photo ID, or your Photo ID is expired? You do have options to have your document notarized. A credible witness may be used. What is a credible witness? A credible witness is someone who knows the signer personally, and can take a sworn oath that the signer is who they say they are. The credible witness must have a valid photo ID.

What can be used as a valid Photo ID. You can use a state issued drivers license, a state issued photo ID, a passport, or another government issued photo ID.
